Squash Lab is operated by Squash Lab LLC ("Squash Lab," "we," "us"). Squash Lab analyzes videos of your squash swing and gives you coaching feedback. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Short version: your videos are used to analyze your swing, we don't sell anything to anyone, and you can delete everything whenever you want.
What we collect
Videos you upload. When you film or upload a clip, it's sent to our servers to be analyzed. We keep the clip and its analysis so you can replay past sessions and see your progress over time.
Account info. If you create an account (it's optional), we store your email address. Sign in with Apple shares only what you approve. Your display name and profile photo stay on your device.
Profile details you enter. Things like your handedness and self-reported rating, used to tailor the analysis.
Basic technical data. Standard server logs (timestamps, request info) to keep the service running and debug problems.
Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist on this site, we store the email you enter and use it only to tell you about the launch.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't show ads. We don't share your videos or analysis with anyone else. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
How videos are used
Your clips are processed by our analysis pipeline (body and racket tracking) to produce your swing feedback. Clips from consenting users may also be used to improve our analysis models. If you'd rather your clips weren't used this way, email us and we'll exclude them.
Teams and coaches
If you join a team with an invite code, your coach can see your sessions, including your swing scores, metrics, and analyzed videos. Leaving a team takes one tap and your history stays yours.
Where data lives
Videos and analysis results are stored with our cloud providers (Supabase and Cloudflare). Accounts are handled by Supabase Auth. Data is encrypted in transit.
Using the app without an account
You can use Squash Lab as a guest. Guest uploads are analyzed the same way but aren't tied to a personal account, which also means they can't be restored to a new device.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual sessions in the app anytime. Deleting your account (Profile → Account → Delete account) removes your account and its data from our servers. You can also email us and we'll handle it.
Kids
Squash Lab isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
