Terms of Service

Squash Lab analyzes videos of your squash swing and gives you automated, coach-style feedback, scores, and progress tracking. The feedback is generated by software. It's training information, not professional coaching, medical, or physiotherapy advice. Use your judgment, and train within your limits.

Analysis is automated and won't always be perfect. Scores and swing counts can be off, especially with unusual filming angles. We're always improving it, but we don't guarantee accuracy.

You can use the app as a guest or with an account (email or Sign in with Apple). You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 13 to use the Service; if you're under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's permission.

Your videos are yours. By uploading a clip you give us permission to store and process it so we can analyze your swing, show you replays, and track your progress. That's what the app is for. Clips from consenting users may also be used to improve our analysis models; email us anytime to opt out, as described in our privacy policy.

Only upload footage you have the right to share. If other people are identifiable in your clips, make sure they're okay with it.

If you join a team with an invite code, your coach can see your sessions, including your swing scores, metrics, and analyzed videos. You can leave a team at any time and your history stays yours. Coaches agree to use player data only for coaching their team.

Don't misuse the Service: no breaking in, scraping, reverse engineering the analysis pipeline, uploading unlawful or harmful content, impersonating others, or interfering with other people's use. We can suspend or close accounts that do.

Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and billing terms are shown clearly before you pay, and purchases made through the App Store are also governed by Apple's terms.

You can stop using Squash Lab anytime and delete your account in the app (Profile → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (like liability limits) survive termination.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Squash Lab LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Squash is a physical sport. You're responsible for your own safety when filming and training.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If a change is meaningful, we'll update this page and the date at the top; continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which Squash Lab LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
